Every successful piece begins with a clear, solid idea. Before you start writing—or before River's Edge begins the writing process for you—take the time to shape your vision. The best results come from a well-thought-out plan, so ensure your foundation is strong before we dive into the editing or writing.

[2] Which Service is for You?

Once your idea is clear, it’s time to choose the service that best suits your needs. Are you confident in your writing but need help fine-tuning and polishing, or do you need a fresh start and guidance from the very beginning? Choose the service that aligns with where you are in your writing process, and I’ll take it from there.

[3] Book a Consultation

After completing the brainstorming phase, book a consultation. If you're booking a writing service, come prepared with a plan; if you're booking an editing service, bring a draft. During the consultation, we'll discuss your goals and how I can best assist you. Afterward, you’ll receive a quote and contract to review before moving forward.

[4] The Nitty-Gritty

Now, the real work begins – for me! You can relax while I dive into the editing and/or writing. Throughout the process, I’ll keep you updated, sending you multiple drafts and revisions as needed during the contract period. Whether you prefer frequent check-ins or just a few, I’ll ensure the process stays collaborative and aligned with your vision.

[5] Final Approval

Once I’ve completed your piece, I’ll send you the final draft for your review. This is your opportunity to evaluate the work, make any final requests, and ensure everything aligns with your vision. If there’s anything you’d like to tweak, I’ll make those revisions until you're completely satisfied. Once you approve the final version, I’ll send over the final invoice, and your project will be officially complete—ready to go live!

If you have a piece that needs editing before submission and you’re ready to skip the consultation, my fixed-price packages could be the ideal solution. Simply choose the package that matches the length of your document and proceed with your purchase.

Once you’ve made your selection, you’ll receive a confirmation email with clear instructions on how to submit your work. After submission, you can expect your edits and feedback to be returned within 3 business days, ensuring your piece is polished and ready to shine.

Prices are set according to the highest word count within each range. For example, a document with 1,500 words falls within the 1,000–2,000 word range and is charged at a flat 2,000-word rate. For an exact quote based on your document’s word count, please book a consultation.

    >10,000 - N/A*

    As mentioned above, prices are calculated based on the upper limit of each word count range.
