By booking a consultation with River's Edge Freelance, you agree to the general terms of service. A specific contract will be provided following the consultation to outline the scope and terms of the agreed services. These terms also apply to the purchase of any fixed-priced services, differing in terms of payment unless otherwise specified.

1. Introduction
   Welcome to River’s Edge Freelance ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing and using our website, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.

2. Services Provided
   We offer freelance writing and editing services as described on our website. All projects, deadlines, and deliverables will be agreed upon in writing before commencement.

3. Payment Terms
   Payments are required in accordance with agreed milestones. A [10%] non-refundable deposit is required at project commencement. Full payment must be made before final deliverables are provided. Late payments may be subject to additional fees.

4. Ownership & Rights
   Clients own all final deliverables once full payment has been received. We retain the right to showcase completed projects in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Confidentiality
   Any information shared during the project will be kept confidential. We will not disclose client details or project specifics without consent, except as required by law.

6. Limitation of Liability
   We do not guarantee specific outcomes from our services. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

7. Termination
   Either party may terminate a project with written notice. If terminated, the client forfeits any non-refundable deposit.

8. Governing Law
   These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Queensland, Australia.

9. Amendments
   We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any changes.
